Beautifully balanced and entirely hand made Rodney Mohr viola bow. Gold Mountings and in like new condition. This pictured bow was previously owned by two former music professors in South Texas who were also active professional musicians.
Rodney has won numerous awards in international competitions, including the Violin Society of America International Competitions and the Concours International de Paris. Rodney holds the distinction of Hors’ Concours by the Violin Society of America. His bows are currently being performed by the concertmaster of the Hungarian Radio Symphony and members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
Investment wise, owning a Mohr is a wise choice. Very respected in the international bow making community. It will certainly appreciate in value no problem!
Mohr is also a skilled teacher of bow making and has passed on his knowledge to future generations of bow makers.
It can be sent out on a trial basis, on a case by case basis. This is a great bow and I will be sad to be it go but hope the next person will be just as passionate about it as I am.
