Lee Guthrie began making bows after attending the bow making course at the University of New Hampshire in 1990 under the instruction of Bill Salchow. Previous to that he made my living as a land surveyor and civil engineering technician. Guthrie has attended the summer bow making workshop at Oberlin College every year since 1996. Lee Guthrie recently finished his 500th bow. His workshop is in St. Paul, Minnesota.
