  • Founded in 1974 by german master violin maker Jürgen- Dietrich Krause, our family workshop welcomes you now since over 40 years, if you are looking for fine handcrafted instruments. Our workshop is now in the second generation led by his son, master violin maker Martin Krause. He was trained at the violin making school in Mittenwald/ Germany, worked than in Chicago for Michael Becker and home in the family workshop, before making his master exam in Saarbrücken and Hamburg in 2007. Since 2011 he leds the workshop in Saarbrücken. We are member of the VDG. Our goal is to create with classical craftmanship and our passion for music exeptional stringed instruments. Your music is our inspiration. Beside of making new instrument, our second focus lies on restoration and repair of instruments.
