This is an Award winning 16 1/4 viola it placed 2nd/Silver Viola overall at the 2015 VMAAI competition.

This viola is based on Lillian Fuchs Maggini Viola. Like the original the string length is that of a 15 1/2 viola. Making it very playable for the size.  The back is made from oregon myrtle the top is sitka spruce and the neck is Bavarian maple. It has a warm clear sound with just a little sizzle.
